A Meal Survivor tip: The Bad Guys

Before shopping, reread the list of Bad Guys. Better yet, print it out and carry it into the store with you. You might even copy the list into a note or memo on your smartphone. Just know that list.

Here's the list of worst offenders...
YOU WANT TO COMPLETELY AVOID:
CORN OIL
SOYBEAN OIL
VEGETABLE OIL
SEED OILS (SUNFLOWER, SAFFLOWER, ETC.)
MARGARINE
SHORTENING
HYDROGENATED FATS
TRANS FATS
NON DAIRY CREAMER
HIGH SODIUM FOODS
At the store, compare product ingredients to the list, and when you find them on a product in your hand, put it back on the shelf.

How many good guys does it take to make up for the Bad Guys? You really just can't...

There are better, more natural peanut butters out there. ...and get your omega-3s from fish, for Pete's sake!
